Institute of Asian Studies organized a closed-door roundtable of key Slovak stakeholders dealing with the political and security challenges posed by potential Chinese investments in Slovakia. The event took place in April 2019 and was attended by the representatives of several ministries and state bodies, experts from universities and think-tanks as well as journalists.The discussion revolved around topics like development of 5G network and involvement of Huawei in that process or implementation of the EU-wide investment screening mechanism.
